Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in during her stage debut. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of productions until 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. In 1957, she made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next role that she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up for in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision to play the lead.
