Simone
Biles gained notoriety after winning the two World Championship golds aged just 16, and also the title of all-around champion. She followed that with the four Worlds golds in 2014 before winning further four golds in the year 2015. Rio 2016, the first Olympics she participated in, saw her as a superstar. This was the title that was granted. Biles won: she took home golds for vault, all-around, beam, and team. Her dominance is in her success with the fundamentals of gymnastics. A tiny frame that measures 4 feet and 8 inches with extraordinary athleticism and force and a low centre of gravity make her an ideal gymnast. A combination of determination, imagination and personality makes her nearly impossible to beat.
